Open House

Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 11 am-2 pm 2nd Floor Monroe Hall Food, hourly door prizes, and for students with children, a drawing for tickets to Mobius Science Center & Children’s Museum. There will be networking and socializing. Find out why students like to come to the Women’s Studies Center, Africana Studies and Chicano Education Lounges. What is available for students with children? Come in, eat, meet the staff and fellow students, and learn about some interesting classes. Oh! And did we mention the buttons? Free buttons and other giveaways.

Vivian Winston Scholarship




This Scholarship was established to assist women students and allow them to improve their lives, the lives of their children and their communities while overcoming the financial challenges of the cost of both tuition and childcare.
The women students must be a continuing or incoming full-time student at Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College or Eastern Washington University. They must also be a resident of Spokane County for the last 12 months and have dependent children requiring childcare. Students must be available to attend the 2014 Women Helping Women Fund Luncheon on May 12, 2014 and provide a short biography for the program. Deadline is March 7th, 2014!
